Services: Dental hygiene students will perform all services under the supervision of licensed dental health professionals. Their services are limited to preventative and limited basic restorative services. They do not offer crowns, extractions, etc., nor do they treat dental emergencies.

Their services are NOT intended to replace comprehensive dental care provided by your dentist.

How to Become a Patient: This clinic is open throughout the year, including summers. Day and evening hours vary each semester though.

The Dental Health Clinic provides care for adults and children age 3 and older.

Appointments are required. They cannot accommodate walk-in appointments.

A treatment plan is developed to meet your oral health needs and may include:Health screening with blood pressure check and oral cancer screening, Dental examination, Non-surgical periodontal care, Oral prophylaxis (teeth cleaning), Oral health instruction with home care kit, Dental radiographs (x-rays), Fluoride treatment, Denture/removable appliance cleaning, Sealants, Intraoral photographs

Fees for care are based upon services needed and necessary supplies, however there is no fee for the screening visit. Payment is expected on the day services are provided, and payment options can be discussed prior to treatment with our financial coordinator. Their clinic accepts most insurance programs and will bill your carrier.
