We are rising to the challenge of being the only dental practice in town accepting children with Medicaid insurance. Our dental department offers everything from cleaning to complex restorative procedures with the use of nitrous oxide gas if needed. Calhoun County residents, who are over age sixty, have limited income and no dental insurance may qualify for dental care under senior millage funding.
Portable DentistryFHC is pleased to provide Portable Dentistry which is a very unique dental service that we offer through the public school systems in Calhoun County. Portable Dentistry services are available for all children insured or uninsured, at no charge to the parent or guardian.
Maintaining oral health is a key element in improving overall health and quality of life. The portable dental services we provide are the same quality we can achieve in our office. During the appointment, a dental hygienist completes a dental screening, cleaning, fluoride treatment and sealants, if sealants are needed.
